RICHARD PATRICK Performs FILTER Classic With KORN
August 21, 2006A big surprise happened at the Family Values tour stop in Devore, CA Saturday, August 19 when Richard Patrick — now lead vocalist for ARMY OF ANYONE — came out onstage during KORN's set and performed "Hey Man Nice Shot", the signature tune from his previous band FILTER. The crowd, already amped up from a KORN set that had DEFTONES frontman Chino Moreno dueting with the band on "Wicked", ate it up and went wild.
ARMY OF ANYONE's lineup is completed by former STONE TEMPLE PILOTS members Dean (guitar) and his brother Robert DeLeo (bass),and ex-DAVID LEE ROTH drummer Ray Luzier. The band will shoot a video for its first single, "Goodbye", on August 22 in the downtown Los Angeles area. A radio-edit version of "Goodbye" is available for download at this location. The group's debut album is scheduled for release on November 14 via the new artist-friendly label launched by The Firm.
